I’m Glen. I work directly with you on motorcycle PPE testing, documentation and certification. The resources and training guides explain the practical decisions behind the work.
Why I started Trace
Brands used to ask me for help with their documentation. While I worked inside test houses and certification bodies, the most I could do was hand over a blank technical file.
I started Trace so I could work through it with you.
Eleven years in the PPE industry, in various roles. I’ve run tests, led a test team, assessed and certified products, and managed projects across testing and certification.

Sending a laboratory a request for “testing” doesn’t automatically include a plan for stopping at failures, choosing the order of tests or explaining what the results mean for your product.
Completing the tests is one stage. Your documentation still needs to reach the certification body at the right point, and its comments need answers.
I’ve seen projects stall for months while those comments went unanswered. When I manage certification, I follow up with the people involved and tell you what needs your decision.

Yes. You do not need to arrive with a test plan. Tell me what you are making and where you want to sell it.
Do you do the testing or issue the certificate?
No. Independent test houses carry out the testing and certification bodies make the certification decision. I prepare and coordinate the work.
